Dreamy Engagement at The Gateway Arch, St. Louis

Back in October, Neal proposed to Sarah in the exact spot we met them for their engagement session. The Arch sits right between the Mississippi River and Downtown St. Louis. And nothing is more recognizably Missouri than the shining steel structure glowing in the sun. Speaking of the sun, we could’t possibly have asked for a better sunset than the one we had this night.

We began the shoot under the Arch with and very quickly fell in love with their dog, Winston. He might have been the cutest dog we’ve ever had in an engagement session. Side-note, if you are on the fence about whether or not to bring your dog to your session, please bring them! We are animal lovers and we absolutely love meeting all of of clients’ pets! As we made our way through the park we began to have the whole place to ourselves. It’s not everyday you get to be in a national park nearly alone. This gave us plenty of room to let loose and capture some amazing moments along with the amazing view.

We wrapped up the shoot next to the Old Courthouse and said our goodbyes after making sure to give Winston one last good pat. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect St. Louis photoshoot and we are super excited to see Sarah & Neal again on their wedding day!
